On behalf of the whole Benton family I wanted to let you know what a great time we had in Costa Rica. I think what sums the whole experience up was that it exceeded our expectations in almost every way.

The condo was great, the view was spectacular and the rooms were very comfortable. Katy and Ellen wanted to bring the showers home with them.

The tours were so much fun, well-planned and interesting. We did and saw some things we've never done before. The fishing was fun, the crew was excellent, the boat very clean and comfortable and the food was wonderful. Everything was on time and we never seemed to have to wait for anything. All the people you have working with you are courteous, friendly and very good to travel with.

We also enjoyed getting to know you all. You make a great team. You definitely know the best things to do and places to eat down there.

Hope that you have a great year and we look forward to going back sometime.

Wow what a first class adventure!!! I remember when we started thinking about an adventure of a life time to help John bring in his 50th and we started looking into Costa Rica . Joe and I had thought it would be good for both of us to talk to different outfitters, compare notes and then decide on whom to patronize for this special occasion. At first I was talking to anyone and everyone that responded to my emails. This quickly became very discouraging due to the high pressure tactics being used to close the sale at all cost. This is when Joe started talking to Jerry and was very pleased with the package being offered, the top notch boat and crew and NO PRESSURE was being applied to close the deal. That is when we both agreed I should stop my search and have our adventure on the Dragon Fly.

The first day after arriving is Costa Rica we walked down to the Marina and took a look at the Dragon Fly and right then and there we knew it was truly going to be a trip / adventure of a life time. We were so excited; all we could talk about the entire rest of the day was fishing. The first day out was awesome. I know James and the crew were very up set that it was a slow first day however; we were in heaven. No cell phones, no computers, no dead lines, we were on the best boat ever, and had a very professional Captain and Crew taking care of us. We ate like kings the whole time; from snacks in the morning, to lunch, to drinks, it was all covered, we had everything we needed and then some!! Watching James work the boat, giving instructions to the Crew, and the Crew anticipating the instructions was like watching a highly skilled Surgeon and his team working together in an operating room. The professionalism from all three; James, Berto and Chilla was incredible, Nordstrom’s should publish this as the “How to Treat your Guest” chapter in their “Customer Service Manuel” !! It only got better and more exciting from there on out!!

Thank you for providing John with a special birthday, all of us with a once in a life time adventure, me a 60 lb Yellow Fin Tuna and memories of the best fishing trip I have ever experienced!! I truly want to and dream of returning to the Dragon Fly for another day of fishing with James, crew and my best friends!!

Thanks again for all of the hospitality and making our trip special!!!

James and crew are fish finding gentlemen. Never did we have a need that was not met. They made everyone feel at home and like we were kings for a day. Great job!
